I'll add to this post a bit later, but one forum that I always keep coming back to is the Warrior Forum - it's chock full of quality advice, and also genuine special offers that are well worth going for.

Also check out Self-Starters Weekly Tips - this has a very good amount of info for complete beginners and is very welcoming!
