- This weekend sees the Bristol 10km Run:
Around 11,000 people will be taking part - the usual mix of "fun" runners, serious runners, walkers, and wheelchair racers.
As Directors of DragonWeb Publishing, Tess and I are taking part and raising money for Rheumatoid Arthritis - a very painful and frustrating condition which affects roughly one person in every 100. It's crazy that despite the symptoms and progress of the disease being very well known, nobody currently knows what actually triggers the onset of this kind of arthritis. If more money was available for research, we could help mat thousands of people around the world - including thousands of children. Just in the UK, around 12,000 children under 16 years of age suffer from early-onset arthritis.
