Zemanta is an interesting plugin for Firefox that finds content relevant to the post you are writing. You can then simply select and paste in the bits that you want, and they can be news stories, images, articles etc.
It will also suggest tags for your post, and works with Wordpress, Blogger, and Gmail. I have used it for this little post - and it can automatically add hyperlinks to keywords too!
